Making Charakter v2.0
Author: Dariuz DawidowskiMaking Human - Creating an object:
This is default Make Human (MH) View. You can set Age/Sex, Body Mass, Breast and Body Shape by dragging red dots by Left Mouse Button (LMB).
This menu is available under fifth icon (pointed by blue arrow).

Rough shape is done. Time for details. Enable sixth icon.
On the left you can choose which detail will be processed by clicking on the yellow circle. Chosse one of the icons on the right side, click and drag to right setting influence of this shape to our object (0.0 = no influence, 0.5 = half influence, 1.0 = full influence).
It's a good habit to find reference picture and keep it open on the side (in GNU/Linux you can set for window "Always stay on top" which is very handy in this case).

The source of the Eleanor's picture is 'Queens of England', published in 1894. This graphic is in the public domain.
When you'll finish you have to save your project. First icon with disk is for loading body setting, second for saving. Type path (on the picture you can see example only, chose your desired folder) with file name with extension .bs and push Enter. Then Esc to return to main window.
To load you project later - use Load icon and type that path with file name.

But .bs file format is native for Make Human application. To use these models in other application you need to export to pupular format which is supported by many 3d applications. Third disk icon is for exporting to Wavefront .obj format, and fourth to Collada .dae and this one is the best.
It works similiar to body setting saving. Click on fourth icon and type path name and push Enter. In this case it will be output folder containing mesh.dae file with our model.
