Blender – Interface II – The 3D- Window (Viewport)
Author: Karl KühbergerThe actual working process (Modelling, Animating etc.) takes place in the 3D- Window (= Viewport).
In the base setting there is already a cube, a camera and a lamp in the scene. You can also see the axes of the global coordinate plane, the grid, and a 3D- Cursor with the shape of a crossline. In the left upper corner you can see the current orientation of the axes and the name of the chosen object. The number in paranthesis indicates the actual frame and is only important with animated objects. The menu bar belonging to the 3D- window is located at the lower edge.
