Feedback about the work with Blender 3D

Die ersten paar Stunden, die wir mit Blender verbracht haben, waren ziemlich anstrengend. Tasten auf der Tastatur haben im Blender eine ganz andere Funktion als bei ähnlichen Programmen. Die Grundfunktionen haben wir uns schnell eingeprägt und konnten schon ein paar Figuren selbst gestalten. Das hat mir schon Spass gemacht Türme oder Glocken zu modellieren. Wenn man die Tasten S, E, G etc. gut kennt ist es auch kein Problem etwas zu modellieren. Die Ansichten der Kamera sind schon ein bisschen kompliziert.
Zum Projekt selbst. Ich habe mir den Felsendom ausgewählt. Die Struktur zu machen, Wände zu extrudieren und solche Sachen hatte ich schon in der ersten Stunde fertig, aber es gab ein wenig Probleme mit den Texturen. (Eliska Tesarkova)


At the beginning working with Blender was quite hard for us.  The reason is that keys have complete different functions in this programme compared to others. Nevertheless we have become familiar with the basics quite fast and started modeling our first objects. I liked modeling towers and bells and if you know the specific keys such as S, E, G etc. you will have no problem in modeling anything that you want to. Using camera sights was a little more difficult for us.
About the project: I have chosen the dome of the rock in Jerusalem. Creating the structure, extruding walls and stuff like that was finished in an hour but then I had to face some difficulties with the textures. (Eliska Tesarkova)



        

Im Projekt Eleonore habe ich an einer Stadtmauer von Acre gearbeitet. Meine Arbeit hat mir Spass gemacht, weil ich erstens verschiedene Fotos von der Stadt suchen musste. Dann war es ziemlich schwer sich das in Wirklichkeit vorzustellen. Aber ich bin froh, dass meine Arbeit gelungen ist und dass ich beim Projekt teilnehmen konnte. (Katerina Opalecka)


I have worked on the  town wall of Acre. I really liked in this project work to start recherches and find pictures how the town looked like. I am glad that my results with Blender have turned out very well and  that I could participate in this project. (Katerina Opalecka)


        


Im Projekt Eleonore habe ich die Umgebung Jerusalems bearbeitet. Zuerst musste ich mir im Internet einige Fotos suchen um zu erfahren, wie es dort aussieht. Es sind nur Wüsten. Also habe ich in Blender eine Wueste gemacht, dann habe ich ihr eine Textur aus Internet gegeben und ein Paar Fotos gemacht.  (Veronika Patakova)


In the project Eleonore I have worked on the creation of the surrounded area of Jerusalem. First I had to search for pictures in the Internet to find out how this environment looks like. Then I started modeling the desert with blender, added the texture that I have found in the internet and finally made some screenshots. (Veronika Patakova)

 

   
   

Besides working with the programme Blender 3D  the students have also occupied themselves with the story of Eleanor during their Art lessons.
