Exercises - Modeling 1

After working through the tutorials 5 and 6 we are able to create any simple object which conglomerates of ashlar shaped elements.

In order to train these working steps and to eliminate any ambiguities we provide some exercises here for you. Of course these exercises are non obligatory. Nevertheless we want to afford the opportunity to try  these exercises, send if you want the results to Anne Gutmann in order to receive feedback on your work and solve any problems with this subject matter.

You can also create any other objects and send them as well to us. We would like to publish as many objects as possible on this plattform, which have been created by participants of the project to promote the use of Blender 3D.

Exercise 1:

Modeling of a simple chair

The textures which you will need for this execise can be selfmade photographes, which are saved as .jpg files on you computer. Creativity knows no limits. If you just want to train the working steps, we will provide some textures at the end of this sheet for you.

Exercise 2:

Modeling a rack with different sized shelves.

Try to work especially with the stilistic device of Lighting.

Exercise 3:

Modeling a house with windows and a door.

It's up to you how elaborately you will put this exercise into practice. Make sure that you choose textures which create the most realistic impression.

Good luck!
