Tartu Raatuse Gümnaasium
The Tartu Raatuse Gümnaasium is a grammar school with focus on German language since 1973, and it also offers Chinese classes as optional subject (3rd foreign language) since 2005. The first foreign language is German or English, the secound is English, Russian or German. In 10th grade pupils can choose between the subjects German, English, Russian, Latin and Chinese.
One part of our pupils emphasizes on German, and the best of them pass the DSD II – test of KMK (level C1) in 12th grade. Our school functions as an examination centre for the German language diploma of the Cultural Ministry Conference of South Estonia.
The Tartu Raatuse Gümnaasium is situated in the 2nd biggest city of Estonia- in Tartu, with a population of about 100 000. In 2009 730 pupils attend to our school, 383 girls and 347 boys.

here is Tartu calling.We are students from Estonian town Tartu and we learn in the Tartu Raatuse Gümnaasium in 11th form. There is 13 of us – 6 boys and 7 girls. We learn German more than others at the same time.
We are active and like to take part in different projects.
